All:Lo Collective Tour at SideQuest – A Happy Accident Turned into the Perfect Vibe 🎶🎨✨
This past weekend, we had the pleasure of vending our art at the All:Lo Collective Tour, hosted by the amazing crew at Ambient Alchemists at SideQuest on 44th—and what a night it was! Funny enough, we didn’t realize it was a downstairs event until we had already set up upstairs. But honestly? It turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
The upstairs space became the perfect chill zone, giving people a chance to step away from the crowd, relax, and actually take their time exploring our art without being bumped into. The flow was ideal—people wandered up, grabbed a drink, and spent some quality time shopping and chatting with us.
One of the unexpected perks of being upstairs was the soothing music filtering through. With less bass pounding in our ears, we were able to listen and connect with our customers even better. It made for such an enjoyable, laid-back experience that felt personal and genuine.

Oh, and let’s talk about the food at SideQuest—specifically the fried gnocchi. 🔥🤯 Both flavors were absolutely phenomenal. If you haven’t tried it yet, you NEED to. It’s the perfect fuel for a night of music, art, and good vibes.
As always, it was a pleasure working with the SideQuest staff and the Ambient Alchemists crew. Their dedication and hospitality make every event feel seamless and welcoming. We can’t wait to be back for more adventures—bringing more art, sharing more moments, and soaking in the magic that this community creates.
Everyone involved on show day.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed something special, or just came up to say hi—you make this all worthwhile. 💫🎶🔥 See you at the next one! 💖

Longturn Music welcomes everybody and has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, unwelcome physical contact, or any brand of bigoted behavior. If anyone at a Longturn event is making you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or if you witness anything of the sort, we encourage you to speak with the door staff or our team members. We’ll believe you, and we’ll help.
In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.
Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
Come early, stay late, dance hard
An Unforgettable Night with Longturn Music at Cobra 🎶🎨✨
This past weekend, we had the absolute pleasure of vending our art at Cobra, thanks to the amazing crew at Longturn Music—and what a night it was! We were set up in a small side room that turned out to be the perfect spot. It gave people a chance to step away from the dance floor, check out the art, and shop comfortably without missing a beat.
The crowd was nothing short of incredible. It was amazing to see so many wonderful people throughout the night—new faces, familiar friends, and just an all-around awesome vibe. We were beyond grateful for the bunch of custom requests we received from people wanting unique, handmade gifts for their loved ones. It means the world to us when people trust our art to be a part of their special moments.
A massive shoutout to the legend at the beginning of the night who bought $140 worth of earrings with the sole purpose of passing them out at Lost Lands—YOU ROCK! 💥 That kind of generosity and support absolutely blew us away. We can’t wait to see our art making its way through the festival crowd!

DJ Susan Crowd
Dance music culture is built on the values of love, acceptance, and inclusivity, and throughout the culture’s evolution, there have been leaders who embody those values through their music.
In the scene today, DJ Susan is one of those leaders, and his charting release catalog, his celebrated DJ sets, and his champion record label, Hood Politics Records, all stem from his own mission to lift up the scene and the people in it.
The common denominator among his releases remains a fiery sense of high energy that encourages people to connect on the dancefloor. Whether the track is raw and bassline-driven or a smoother vocal cut, the feeling is uplifting and just plain fun.
That feeling has led Glathe to land several charting releases including “TALKIN” which peaked at number one on the Beatport Bass House chart and “Secrets” hitting number one on the Tech
House Hype chart. The same success is apparent amongst his overall catalog with offerings on impressive labels including Spinnin’ Records and Repopulate Mars with legends of the craft like Claude VonStroke and Calvin Harris rinsing his tracks to some of the largest audiences in the world.
Glathe’s philanthropic approach to house music culminates in his self-run grassroots record label, Hood Politics Records. He set out to be the label he didn’t get to connect with when he was coming up. A label that will welcome artists into a strong and supportive family, where the goal is nothing more than giving a platform for great music regardless of clout or connections.
True leaders don’t care for clout and connections. They care about love, acceptance, and inclusivity. True leaders built dance music culture, and DJ Susan is building something big.
Glathe has curated over 150 releases since launching the label in 2017, welcoming established artists like John Summit, Max Styler, and Vanilla Ace to the roster along with a squad of exciting newcomers from all over the world like LA’s BINGEWATCH and the UK’s Brad Wood.
DJ Susan’s momentum is building everywhere you look—between his performances at Coachella, Splash House, Day Trip and ADE, his slots supporting huge artists like DJ Snake, Porter Robinson, Tchami, Malaa, Wuki and SIDEPIECE, and his recent signing to Patrick Moxey’s Helix Records. The future for DJ Susan is looking very, very bright.

This past Wednesday marked the grand opening of Elixr at its stunning new venue—The Goldmark—and what a night it was! This spacious, vibrant location proved to be the perfect setting for a night filled with creativity, connection, and pure magic.
Our Fungi display for the night
I had the honor of setting up my vendor table in the backroom, where I showcased my handcrafted art. Together, we curated the cutest, most inviting display while she live-painted, adding a dynamic and immersive element to the experience. The energy in the room was electric, and seeing people engage with our work in such an intimate setting was nothing short of inspiring.

Collab: Ambient Alchemists
Who is Ambient Alchemists?
Their logo.
Based and established 2019 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ambient Alchemists is a women owned and operated EDM promotion company. We are passionate and dedicated to promoting EDM music by curating events that showcase bass-heavy EDM performances. We pay special attention to sub-genres like experimental deep dub and dubstep, along with incorporating live instruments into our events to create a unique hybrid experience for attendees.
Over the last five years, Ambient Alchemists has significantly contributed to the Pittsburgh EDM community by organizing over 40 events. Our events have featured performances from notable national and international artists such as LUZCID, Chee, The Widdler, KOAN Sound, Josh Teed, Mantra Sounds, 5AM Trio and many more! See full list below.
The Team
In addition, our contribution goes beyond booking headliners. We promote and showcase local and regional underground EDM talent. Creating opportunities to perform in direct support positions. As a result of our efforts, we have landed opportunities to host takeovers representing that talent and that talent mutually representing us at music festivals including Big Dub, Lil Dub, and Deutschtown Music Festival.
Ambient Alchemists also has a history of hosting live-streams and virtual festivals with a range of artists. In 2020, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we kept the music alive by creating and hosting a weekly live stream called “Live Lab” for 19 consecutive weeks, featuring artists like Scales, EOS, and Lemondoza.

Collaborating with Ambient Alchemists: A Custom Line of Rolling Trays
Collaboration is where creativity thrives, and my recent project with Ambient Alchemists is proof of that. Together, we combined our unique visions to create a custom line of rolling trays that perfectly reflects both brands' aesthetics and values.
Ambient Alchemists approached me with the idea of designing a product that could blend seamlessly with their artistic identity while incorporating a touch of my company’s signature style. The result? A collection of rolling trays that are not only functional but also visually captivating.
One of the standout features of this collaboration was the creation of a custom sticker. To tie our brands together, I combined the fungi imagery that represents my company with Ambient Alchemists' logo. The fusion of these two elements brought a distinctive and cohesive look to the trays, showcasing the harmony between our creative worlds. The design feels organic and intentional, embodying the artistic spirit we both strive to bring to our work.
Crafting these trays was a rewarding process. From selecting the materials to refining the final designs, every step was a collaboration of ideas and effort. Seeing the trays come to life with vibrant colors, sleek finishes, and the combined branding was an incredibly satisfying moment. Each piece tells a story of partnership and shared creativity.
Working with Ambient Alchemists has been a true pleasure. Their passion for artistry and innovation aligns so well with my own, making this project not just a collaboration but a celebration of shared vision and talent. The rolling trays are a testament to what can happen when two creative forces come together.
If you’re interested in checking out these unique rolling trays, stay tuned for more updates. They’re the perfect blend of form and function, with a design that speaks to anyone who appreciates art and craftsmanship. Here’s to more collaborations like this—where inspiration meets innovation!

Custom Giraffe Coaster Set: A Unique Gift with Heart
Gift-giving is an art, especially when the present is both thoughtful and personal. Recently, I had the privilege of creating a custom coaster set that was more than just functional; it was a heartfelt expression of personality and sentiment. The request came with a unique backstory that made the project even more special.
From start…..
The inspiration? Giraffes. My client—a thoughtful boss looking to surprise his girlfriend—shared a sweet detail: she’d once told him, “Giraffes are my spirit animal.” That simple statement sparked an idea, and I got to work designing a coaster set that would bring their story to life.
Each coaster was carefully crafted to reflect the elegance and charm of giraffes. I used small toy plastic giraffes as accents, real dried leaves as a textured background, and a giraffe print sticker to tie the theme together. The designs featured intricate patterns, long graceful necks, and whimsical touches that celebrated the animal’s unique beauty. I chose materials that balanced durability with aesthetic appeal, ensuring the set would be as practical as it was meaningful.
The sticker was made for this project…..
The process was just as rewarding as the final product. Knowing the backstory added a layer of joy to every detail—from selecting the colors and textures to ensuring the pieces came together seamlessly. It wasn’t just about creating coasters; it was about capturing a sentiment that would resonate with the recipient.
When the set was completed, it was clear this wasn’t just a gift; it was a personal connection brought to life. The boss’s girlfriend now has a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece that’s both a nod to their inside joke and a symbol of their bond.
The final product.
This project reminded me of why I love what I do. Custom creations aren’t just about the final product; they’re about the stories and emotions they carry. Whether it’s a giraffe-themed coaster set or another personalized piece, these moments of connection make every effort worthwhile.
If you’re ever looking for a gift that speaks from the heart, think about what makes your relationship unique. Sometimes, it’s as simple as a spirit animal—or, in this case, a giraffe—to inspire something truly memorable.

The Elixr Holiday DNB Party: A Night to Remember
The holiday season is always a time to gather, celebrate, and create memories. This year, we took it to another level with the Elixr Holiday DNB Party on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Hosted at Remedy, the event delivered an electrifying night filled with energetic beats, good vibes, and a tight-knit community that came together for one last hurrah at this iconic venue.
From the moment the DJs started spinning, Remedy was alive. The lineup had the place bumpin’ nonstop through the night, delivering a blend of drum and bass that kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. For a Wednesday night, the turnout was impressive. We saw some new faces—a testament to the growing appeal of the scene—and reconnected with old friends who came out to show their support.
The atmosphere was nothing short of electric, fueled by the love and support of everyone present. A huge shoutout to Sayounara Productions for organizing this unforgettable event and for their unwavering dedication to bringing the community together through music. Their passion and hard work do not go unnoticed, and we’re grateful to have been part of this celebration.
As bittersweet as it is to bid farewell to Remedy as a venue, we’re thrilled for what’s next. The Elixr events will be moving to The Goldmark in Lawrenceville, PA, a space that promises to be the perfect setting for future parties and gatherings. While Remedy will always hold a special place in our hearts, we’re excited to continue the legacy and bring even more magic to The Goldmark.

Crossbow's ears are healed and we've locked in a rescheduled date. She’s ready to return to Pittsburgh for the December 14 edition of Night Shift. Crossbow has been making serious waves this year, with a recent release on Codex, a massive direct support slot for Eli Brown at the Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, and a fantastic performance for us at Elements Festival. Last time she was in town, she nearly stole the show with her incredible opening set for Sam Wolfe at the Gymnasium. We’re beyond excited to see what she can do on Cobra's Void sound system. Get ready for a journey into moody, driving techno that will transport you to a Brooklyn warehouse.
Getting the party started will be Rush promo's Rojaus playing a rare techno set and Papyon coming in from Philly fresh off a huge performance at the fire stage at Elements Festival.
Consider this your standing invite. Clock into the weekend: Cobra Lounge, every Saturday.
Crossbow | Codex / Respekt | NYC

Crossbow comes from an extremely musical background as a singer, song writer and guitarist. Her interest in music developed at a young age and has evolved over her lifetime into a deep passion for dance music. Her love for moody, yet playful techno, allows her to carry her listeners into a moment of deep focus and empowerment. Driving kick drums, jumpy bass-lines, metallic synths and a feel for something darker is what drives her-all carefully woven together to transport you to the foggy underground clubs of Berlin and back to some warehouse in Brooklyn. She chooses her music based on a primal instinct for polyrhythmic drum patterns and emotions embedded between the lines of the melodies. Her hope is that this music elicits interesting and enjoyable feelings in others, the same as it does for her.

The set up for the night
An Incredible First Collaboration with Longturn Music at Cobra Pittsburgh
This past weekend, I had the opportunity to be a part of something new and exciting—my first time working with Longturn Music and vending at the Cobra Pittsburgh location. What a wild, wonderful night it turned out to be! From the venue to the crowd to the music, everything came together beautifully in a way that made me grateful to be part of such a dynamic event. It was an experience that I’ll definitely cherish as I continue to grow my small art business.
First Impressions: Cobra Pittsburgh & Longturn Music
Cobra Pittsburgh is an intimate venue with a gritty, underground vibe that makes it perfect for an EDM event. It has that unique “dive bar meets rave” feel, where the raw energy of the crowd really matches the intensity of the music. It was the ideal setting for an event that was all about pushing the boundaries of creativity and music. And working with Longturn Music was a pleasure from start to finish. This was our first collaboration, and I’m happy to say that they delivered an experience that was both well-organized and full of positive energy.
For a first-time experience, it’s always a bit of a gamble when you’re working at a new venue, especially when you’re vending in a space that’s a little outside of your usual setup. But the team at Cobra Pittsburgh made everything seamless, and Longturn Music really set the tone for a memorable night.
Our Own Little Room: A Unique Vending Experience
One of the unique features of this event was the fact that we had our own little room to vend in, which was definitely different from the more open spaces I’ve worked in at past events. At first, I was unsure how the small, somewhat isolated space would work out, but in the end, it turned out to be a great fit! The intimacy of the space actually made it easier for people to stop by and take a closer look at my handcrafted art. They could engage with the work at their own pace, without the distractions of a larger, more crowded area.
It felt like a small, personal art gallery tucked away in the middle of the party, which really allowed me to connect with people on a deeper level. People were curious, interested, and excited to support my work. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment to showcase my creations. Plus, being able to really focus on engaging with the crowd without the usual noise and distractions of a bigger vending setup was such a pleasant change.
The Music: Crossbow, Kristi, and the Vibe
Now, let’s talk about the music, because that’s the heart and soul of any great EDM event—and this one did not disappoint.
The headliner for the night, Crossbow, absolutely slayed her set. From the moment she stepped behind the decks, the energy in the room shifted, and the crowd was hooked. Her mix of heavy beats, smooth transitions, and raw intensity brought the room to life in a way that only a true professional can. Crossbow’s performance was one of those sets that left you feeling like you were part of something bigger than just a party—it felt like a collective experience, a journey we were all on together. If you ever get the chance to see her live, do not miss it.
And let’s not forget the support DJs and the performance from Kristi, who absolutely killed it on the dance floor. Kristi’s live dance performance added a whole new layer to the event, blending perfectly with the music and making the crowd feel even more connected to the beats. Her energy was contagious, and watching her dance made everyone in the room feel like they were part of something bigger than just a concert—like we were all feeding off of each other’s energy.
The Crowd: New Faces, New Connections
One of the most exciting things about this event was the new faces in the crowd. As a small business owner, it's always a good feeling when you can expand your audience and reach new people, especially in a scene that is constantly evolving. The crowd at Cobra Pittsburgh was vibrant, excited, and incredibly supportive, and I loved meeting new people who appreciated my art. There's something special about having that fresh interaction—where the energy feels new, but at the same time, everyone shares a love for creativity and self-expression.
Seeing so many people connect with my work, and with each other, was such a rewarding experience. It reminded me that, as much as art and music are personal experiences, they are also communal, bringing together different backgrounds, different perspectives, and different stories. That’s the magic of events like these.
A Huge Thank You
I have nothing but good things to say about my first experience working with Longturn Music and vending at Cobra Pittsburgh. I’m so grateful for the opportunity and thankful to everyone who stopped by my booth, supported my art, and made this night unforgettable. From the staff at Cobra to the incredible crowd, to the amazing artists who performed, it was a night full of positive energy, great vibes, and creative magic.
If this is what the future holds for collaborations with Longturn Music and shows at Cobra Pittsburgh, I can’t wait to see what’s next. Thanks again to everyone who made this experience special—I look forward to working with all of you again soon!
Until then, stay creative, stay passionate, and keep supporting the art and music that brings us all together.

Set up for the night
An Incredible Night of Art, Music, and Community: My Experience at the Metamind Collective EDM Show
This past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to sell my handcrafted art at an EDM show hosted by the Metamind Collective—and what an unforgettable experience it was! From the vibrant energy of the crowd to the amazing lineup of DJs, it was a night that perfectly blended creativity, music, and a shared sense of community. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a part of a truly immersive event, this one was a perfect example.
Metamind Collective: A Night to Remember
The event, held at Sidequest—a venue known for its intimate and electrifying vibe—was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped into the venue, I could feel the buzz of anticipation in the air. The Metamind Collective, known for their innovative approach to electronic music and art, truly outdid themselves with this show. The atmosphere was alive, the crowd was electric, and everything felt perfectly curated. They created a space where art and music weren’t separate; they flowed seamlessly together.
A special shoutout goes to the Metamind Collective team for their attention to detail, both in terms of the production and the environment they fostered. They were extremely organized, making sure the artists (like myself!) felt welcome and supported. It’s not every day that you get to collaborate with such a forward-thinking and inclusive collective.
Headliner: Mandidextrous
One of the highlights of the night was undoubtedly Mandidextrous, the headliner, who brought the house down with an electrifying set. Mandedextrous is a force in the hard dance and EDM scene, pushing boundaries and creating a space for everyone, an ideal at their finest. Their set was a masterclass in energy, seamlessly blending genres and building up to a climax that had the entire room shaking with excitement.
Mandedextrous' performance was a perfect reflection of their commitment to inclusivity and progressive thinking within the electronic music community. It was a night where we all came together, dancing and celebrating our shared love for music, art, and self-expression.
Supporting DJs and the Vibrant Lineup
The supporting DJs also did an outstanding job of setting the stage for Mandedextrous’ headline performance. From start to finish, the energy never dipped. Big shoutout to the talented DJs who kept the crowd moving all night long:
DJ Bliss — bringing those deep, pulsating beats that made the floor vibrate.
VibeCatcher — their high-energy set was full of unexpected twists and kept everyone on their toes.
Pixelate — an absolute wizard with mixing, their blend of melodic and hard dance sounds was something special.
Each DJ added their own flavor to the night, creating an experience that felt like an all-encompassing journey through the hard dance genre. It’s rare to see such seamless transitions between sets, and the way the entire night flowed was a testament to the collective synergy of all the artists involved.
A Shoutout to Sidequest and the Venue Team
Sidequest is one of those venues that really makes you feel like you're part of something unique. The intimate setting allowed for personal connections between the artists and the audience, and the sound system was top-notch, making every drop and buildup feel like a wave of energy crashing over you. The staff at Sidequest were kind, efficient, and made sure the event ran smoothly, so I want to give a huge thank you to them for their support throughout the night.
My Art Journey at the Event
As an artist, this event was a milestone for me. Being able to showcase my handcrafted art at such a dynamic and creative event was an absolute honor. The audience was not only receptive but incredibly supportive, and it was heartwarming to see people connect with my work. Whether it was my unique pieces hanging on the walls or the smaller pieces I brought for sale, it was amazing to witness how art can become a part of the atmosphere in an event like this.
I want to express my gratitude to everyone who stopped by my booth and took the time to engage with my art. You all made this experience even more memorable, and I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity to share my work with such a passionate crowd.
The Hard Dance EDM Community: Unity Through Music and Art
What stood out to me the most about this event was the sense of community. The hard dance EDM world is known for its inclusive and welcoming vibe, and the Metamind Collective exemplified this in every aspect of the event. From the way the artists supported each other to the way the crowd engaged with the music and art, there was a palpable sense of unity. People were there to celebrate, to support one another, and to embrace the music that brings us all together.
It’s moments like these—where music, art, and community come together—that remind me why I do what I do. I’m proud to be part of such a dynamic and passionate scene, and I’m beyond excited to continue creating and sharing my art with all of you.

Final Thoughts
Huge thanks to the Metamind Collective, the incredible Mandidextrous, all the supporting DJs, the team at Sidequest, and everyone who made this event a reality. Together, we created something truly special. If you’re ever in doubt about the power of music and art to bring people together, all you need to do is attend one of these events, and you'll see firsthand how much of an impact they can have.
Until next time, keep dancing, keep creating, and keep supporting each other in this amazing community!

The set up for the night
An Incredible Night at AK Renny: Art, Music, and Good Vibes at Sidequest
What a night! I had the absolute pleasure of showcasing my art at AK Renny — a vibrant event held at the newly renovated Sidequest and hosted by Bassburgh. It was a free show, which made the experience even more accessible to the community, and let me tell you, the energy in the room was nothing short of electric. Between the incredible music, the beautiful venue, and the connections made throughout the night, it was an evening I’ll never forget.
Sidequest: A Beautifully Renovated Venue
First off, let me tell you about Sidequest — the venue was looking absolutely stunning after its recent renovations. I’ve been to Sidequest before, but the updates made this space feel completely fresh and elevated. The new layout and design elements brought out a modern, yet cozy, vibe. There’s something about a venue that has had thoughtful renovations — it makes you feel like the space is alive, evolving, and part of the community.
The lighting was on point, creating the perfect atmosphere for both the art and the music. The walls were adorned with some beautiful details, and the overall aesthetic of the venue complemented the high-energy vibe of the show. As an artist, it’s always amazing to display your work in a space that feels alive, and Sidequest absolutely nailed it with the renovations. The whole venue felt like a work of art in itself!
Bassburgh & the Free Show: All About the Community
It’s always a treat when Bassburgh hosts an event, and AK Renny was no exception. The energy they bring to the table — from the music lineup to the vibe of the crowd — is unmatched. The show was free, which is such a gift to the community. It’s always great to see local shows where the focus is on bringing people together to experience live music and art without any barrier to entry. Whether people were there for the music, the art, or just the love of a good time, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of positive energy.
The beats throughout the night had everyone moving, with AK Renny’s unique style filling the venue with infectious energy. The crowd was vibing, the music was on fire, and I couldn’t have asked for a better setting to showcase my work. Events like these remind me how powerful live music is — it’s not just about the sound; it’s about the connection. And AK Renny’s set was all about that, connecting people through rhythm, bass, and energy.
The Art Booth: Connecting with the Crowd
As an artist, one of my favorite parts of shows like AK Renny is getting to engage with people and see how they connect with the art. Throughout the night, it was so amazing to talk to attendees, some of whom were long-time fans, and others who were seeing my work for the first time. There’s always something so special about meeting new faces and talking about art, especially in such a high-energy setting like this.
CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT: Earrings and Sunglasses
The space was buzzing with people who appreciated both the music and the art. I had the chance to meet so many fantastic individuals, and I’m always grateful for the conversations and connections that come out of these experiences. It wasn’t just about selling pieces; it was about sharing the love of creativity and being part of a community that supports each other.
A Surprise Guest: AK Renny Stops by the Booth!
The highlight of the night, though, came when AK Renny herself stopped by my booth toward the end of the evening. I didn’t expect it, but she took the time to chat with me and my fellow vendors for a solid 20 minutes. She was so down-to-earth and genuinely interested in the art and the experience. It’s not every day that you get to talk to someone who’s headlining a show with so much respect and humility. AK Renny’s energy matched the vibe of the entire night — super chill, approachable, and kind.
It was awesome to hear her thoughts on the art, and it was clear that she really cares about the local scene and supporting fellow creatives. That kind of interaction is what makes live shows so special. It’s not just about the music or the art on its own; it’s about the people who make the experience worthwhile. AK Renny is a true professional, but also just a really cool person, and that conversation was definitely one of the highlights of the night for me.

Wrapping Up: A Night to Remember
As the night came to a close, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful. Bassburgh did an amazing job bringing everything together, and the venue — Sidequest — was the perfect backdrop for such an incredible event. From the music to the art to the people, it was an evening that truly showcased the power of community and creativity.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this night unforgettable: the amazing people who stopped by my booth, the supportive crowd, and especially AK Renny for taking the time to chat and show love. And of course, a big shoutout to Bassburgh for hosting such a fantastic event and to Sidequest for providing a stunning space for us all to enjoy.
If you weren’t able to make it out to AK Renny, keep an eye on the local scene for future events — they’re always bringing something fresh and exciting. And for everyone who was there, thank you for being part of such a memorable night. Until next time! 🎶🎨✨

The setup for the night
A Night of House Beats and Good Vibes: Selling Art at Ozztin
What an incredible night! I recently had the chance to showcase my art at a show called Ozztin, held at the one-and-only Squirrel Hill Sports Bar and hosted by Bassburgh. The night was filled with house music vibes, new friends, old friends, and, of course, a whole lot of creativity and positive energy. It was a perfect blend of art, music, and community — and honestly, it was the kind of night that you just don’t forget.
The Venue: Squirrel Hill Sports Bar — More Than Just a Bar
If you’ve ever been to Squirrel Hill Sports Bar, you know that it has this super welcoming, laid-back vibe, but with just the right amount of edge to make it feel like a hidden gem in the city. The atmosphere is cozy yet spacious enough to dance and mingle. The moment I stepped in, I could tell it was going to be a good night. The owners, who are absolute gems themselves, always make sure that the space is not only welcoming but inclusive — the kind of place where everyone feels at home.
What makes this place so special is the people. The owner of the bar is hands down one of the coolest folks I’ve met in the local scene. He’s always there to support the artists, the musicians, and the community, making sure everyone feels appreciated and respected. It’s rare to find a venue owner who is so involved in creating a positive atmosphere, but this guy nails it every time. I’m so grateful to him for offering up such a fantastic space for events like Ozztin — it really set the tone for the entire evening.

Bassburgh & The Vibe: House Music Magic
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing Bassburgh throw a show, you know they’re all about creating an experience that’s as much about the vibe as it is about the music. Ozztin was no exception — the house beats, deep basslines, and groovy rhythms completely took over the venue, making it impossible not to feel the music in your bones.
The DJ lineup was stacked, and each set brought something unique to the night. It wasn’t just a night of dancing; it was a night of connection, of letting go, and of really getting lost in the beats. The house music played a perfect backdrop to the art on display, with both the sound and visuals feeding off each other in this beautiful, complementary way. The music had that hypnotic quality — the kind that makes you move even if you didn’t plan on it. The crowd was vibing, and I could tell everyone in the room felt the same way.
Selling Art: Connecting with Old Friends and New Faces
As an artist, it’s always exciting to be able to share your work in such a dynamic environment. At Ozztin, I had the chance to connect with both old friends and new faces, and that’s honestly one of my favorite parts of these events. The people who stopped by my booth were genuinely interested in the work I was displaying — and the best part was that it felt like the art was speaking for itself. The house music and the art meshed perfectly, and I loved seeing people light up as they connected with the pieces.
Some of my old friends came through to show love and support, which is always such a rewarding experience. And then, of course, I met a whole new group of people who were curious about the art and the story behind it. There’s always something special about meeting someone who is experiencing your work for the first time. It’s that spark of recognition — the moment they connect with something you’ve created. Those moments are what keep me inspired to keep creating and sharing my art.
The Community Vibe: A Perfect Blend of People
One thing I’ve learned from being part of the local scene is that the people make the event. Ozztin was no different. There was such a beautiful mix of individuals, all there to enjoy the music, appreciate the art, and just enjoy the night in the best possible way. The crowd was diverse, friendly, and full of energy — the kind of people who bring good vibes everywhere they go.
I saw people from all different walks of life come together to enjoy the same experience. Whether they were there to support the music, check out the art, or just enjoy the atmosphere, there was a sense of unity that was hard to ignore. I think that’s one of the reasons I love being part of events like this — it’s not just about selling art or listening to good music; it’s about being part of something bigger than all of us, where creativity, music, and positive energy collide in the best possible way.
CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT: All three bought sunglasses and rocked them all night long!
A Heartfelt Thank You
As the night wound down, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful. Grateful for the amazing venue, the people who came out, the awesome vibes, and, of course, the opportunity to share my art with such a receptive and supportive crowd. A huge shoutout to the Squirrel Hill Sports Bar for being such a fantastic host, and to Bassburgh for putting together such an amazing event. You guys absolutely crushed it.
To everyone who came out to Ozztin, whether you stopped by my booth to chat, supported the other vendors, or simply danced the night away — thank you. Your energy made the night what it was, and I’m so thankful to have been a part of it.
And of course, a special thank you to the bar owner for creating a space where art, music, and people can come together in the most authentic way. It’s venues and people like you that keep the local scene alive, and I look forward to the next one!
Here’s to more nights filled with house beats, good friends, and even better vibes. Until next time! ✨🎶🎨

An Unforgettable Night at Funtcase: Art, Music, and Good Vibes at Thunderbird
If you’ve ever had the chance to experience a live show that combines top-notch music with a vibrant, electrifying atmosphere, then you know how rare it is to be part of something truly memorable. That’s exactly what happened when I had the opportunity to sell my art at Funtcase — an incredible night hosted by Slayd Productions at Thunderbird.
The event had everything you could ask for: a killer lineup, a venue that had the perfect mix of grunge and glamour, and an atmosphere that felt like pure magic. Let me take you through the experience and share just how unforgettable the night was.
The Venue: Thunderbird - The Perfect Backdrop
Thunderbird is one of those places that you can’t help but fall in love with. It has a certain rawness to it that gives every event a unique edge. The combination of industrial design, neon lights, and urban charm made it the ideal location for a night of high-energy beats and electrifying art. Whether you were on the dance floor or checking out the art booths (like mine!), there was always something to catch your eye.
As soon as I walked in and set up my booth, I knew this was going to be something special. The vibe of the venue — that perfect balance of cozy yet expansive — immediately set the tone for a night that felt both intimate and larger-than-life.
Slayd Productions: A Crew That Knows How to Throw a Party
I’ve been part of many events, but there’s something about Slayd Productions that sets them apart. From the moment I arrived, their attention to detail was clear. The team made sure everything was running smoothly, from the lighting to the sound setup, creating the perfect environment for Funtcase to shine.
What really stood out to me, though, was how Slayd Productions made everyone — artists, vendors, performers, and attendees alike — feel like part of the experience. It wasn’t just about selling tickets or creating a show; it was about fostering a sense of community. The energy in the room was electric, and that’s all thanks to the fantastic team behind the event.
Funtcase: A Night of Bass and Beats
If you know anything about Funtcase, you know that the bass is massive. The night was headlined by none other than the legendary Funtcase himself, who absolutely crushed it with an unforgettable set. The bass drops were so intense they seemed to reverberate through your bones, while the lighter melodic moments gave the crowd a chance to breathe before diving back into the heavy beats.
It was clear that the crowd was there to experience the music, and the energy in the room was contagious. The crowd danced, vibed, and lost themselves in the music, while I was lucky enough to witness the whole thing while selling my art. Every time the beat dropped, it felt like the entire room surged together as one — a beautiful reminder of how music and art have the power to unite people in a way nothing else can.
My Art at Funtcase: A New Kind of Connection
Selling art at events like this is always an adventure, and this one was no exception. My booth was filled with pieces that captured the vibe of the night — bold, colorful, and a little wild, just like the crowd. It was amazing to see how many people were drawn to the art, and even better to hear how it resonated with them. There’s something about the atmosphere at a music event like this that makes people more open, more connected, and more willing to embrace new things — including the art on display.
What I loved most was how many people took the time to not only check out my pieces but also talk about them. The connection between art and music felt so natural in that environment. Some visitors even told me how they could hear the music in the colors and energy of the pieces, and that, to me, was the ultimate compliment. The fusion of visual art and music creates this beautiful conversation between two forms of expression, and being able to experience that on a night like Funtcase was just surreal.
The People: A Community of Creatives
What made this event truly unforgettable was the people. From the fellow vendors to the attendees, everyone was there for the love of art, music, and good vibes. There’s something special about the EDM scene that fosters such a positive and open energy, and this event was no different. People were supportive, excited, and genuinely interested in what was happening around them — whether it was the next drop in the music or the art they were experiencing.
I got to meet so many amazing people, all of whom had their own unique stories and reasons for attending Funtcase. Some were longtime fans of Funtcase’s music, others were first-timers just there to enjoy the night, but everyone was part of the same collective energy. And to be able to share that moment with them through my art was truly special.
A Huge Thank You
I can’t finish this post without giving a huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible — from Slayd Productions for hosting such an incredible night, to everyone who stopped by my booth to check out the art, and of course, to all the people who supported my work by purchasing pieces and taking them home. Your energy made the night unforgettable.
To Funtcase, for bringing the bass and the vibes in such an unforgettable way — thank you for creating an experience that was as much about community as it was about music.
And finally, a big thank you to everyone who came together that night — you all made it an event I’ll never forget.
If you missed Funtcase this time, don’t worry — these kinds of experiences don’t come around every day, but when they do, they’re worth the wait. Keep an eye out for the next one, and in the meantime, keep vibing, keep creating, and keep supporting live music and local art!
Until next time! 🎶🎨💥

Set up for the night
It may be the small set up, but we sure pack a punch!
This was our first time working with Noki and honestly it was such a blast!! Him and his team were so helpful and sweet souls. Answering any and all questions that we had. They even provided some decorative fans for us to sell, knowing it gets super hot in this perticular venue.
An Unforgettable Night: Selling Art at a Free EDM Show with Amazing Vibes
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of being part of something truly special — not just another art show, but an unforgettable night at a free show. If you’ve ever had the chance to experience a local underground EDM scene, you’ll know that it’s a world brimming with energy, passion, and creativity. And this event was no exception.
As an art vendor, I’ve participated in many events, but this one felt like a perfect fusion of art, music, and community. Let me tell you why it was so incredible.
A New EDM Producer with Big Dreams
The night kicked off with an electric atmosphere that was instantly contagious. The EDM producer behind the event was new to the scene but already showed the potential to create something really special. What struck me right away about him was his energy. Not only was he incredibly humble, but he was also deeply passionate about creating a space where everyone could come together and experience music and art in a raw, authentic way.
It was a free show, which was honestly so refreshing. It gave everyone — whether you were a die-hard EDM fan or someone just looking for a good night out — the opportunity to vibe out to something fresh and exciting, all while supporting local talent. The producer’s music, which was a mix of hard-hitting bass and ethereal melodic builds, set the tone for the night and had everyone dancing before the first beat even dropped.
Wrapping Up: A Night to Remember
As the night wound down, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the experience. Not only did I get to sell my art in a space filled with amazing people and music, but I also got to witness something truly magical — a community coming together to celebrate art in all its forms.
This EDM producer may be new to the scene, but he’s already making waves with his inclusive approach, his passion for creativity, and his ability to bring people together. If his next show is anything like this one, I’ll be there in a heartbeat — not just to sell my art, but to experience the magic all over again.
It was a night full of good vibes, good people, and an energy that’s hard to put into words. If you’re ever in the area and you see this producer’s name on a flyer, trust me — you’ll want to be there. You never know what creative synergy you might experience next.
Customer Spotlight: Thank You for Rocking Those Sunglasses All Night!
One of the absolute best parts of what I do is getting to meet the incredible people who appreciate my work — and even better, those who connect with it enough to make it part of their own lives. This week, I want to give a special shout-out to one of my amazing customers who not only purchased a pair of sunglasses at my booth during a recent event but also rocked them all night long — and looked absolutely killer doing it.

the set up before the night went CRAZY!
Ambient Alchemists never seems to upset me with how amazing their shows turn out to be. Its always a great night and tons of wonderful people. So many new faces and friends that we got to work with. Pleasure to meet and see you are as always. This show was Ambient Alchemists largest production to date, literally and figuratively. They welcomed ‘The Widdler’ back to Pittsburgh for his Zero G album tour to celebrate the release of the Zero G album. This was his first ever album release coinciding with an album tour, and we all got to be apart of it!
We are so proud to have played a role in this special debut showcase. The Alchemists killed it with sounds that complimented The Widdler with the supporting artists, Yoko, Sqonk, and ikhanhik. Additionally, Astrelle delighted the audience with an enchanting performance during the final 30 minutes. The venue buzzed with energy decorated by talented live painters and unique vendors selling their clothing & crafts. Bright lasers danced through the air paired with the powerful sound of Danley speakers, creating a vibrant atmosphere that kept everyone on their feet. This event was meant to be exceptional and with the remarkable individuals listed below, they successfully achieved that vision.
It got so spicy in there, that the fire alarm started going off during the Widdlers performance!

Our booth for the night at Remedy.
This was our first time ever being here and honestly it was a very unique looking space. Even though we had a smaller set up than usually we made a killing AND it was on a Wednesday. Alexa put together a wonderful show and we were very happy to be apart of it.
She hosts a party once a month and she asked to have us back for the December show! We can’t wait to be back again. We got to meet a bunch of new friends which was really exciting. We hope to get all the requests that was talked about throughout the night. Such wonderful compliments through and through!
